You can learn how to sail and windsurf at this RYA national sailing centre. This water sports centre has lovely walks around its perimeter with beautiful views of the water and surrounding scenery.
Do
vedale and the famous stepping stones, Tissington, Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton are just a short drive away. This area abounds with historic buildings, the magnificent Chatsworth House, Kedleston, Sudbury, Haddon, Hardwick and Eyam Halls are closeby. Ashbourne has many antique shops an dan open market - all worth a visit.
